PRAISE THE LORD!
Praise the Lord for unexpected WONDERFUL news! We left the morning of the 29th to take 3 prelimenary tests, of which we only completed 1 (echocardiogram) because of scheduling conflicts. The heart function test came back a little below normal but the BMT team has not discussed the results with us yet. We also had an appt scheduled with Dr Srinivas to stay on top of the chemo Josh has been receiving until we make concrete plans with BMT team. At the appt with Dr Srinivas she gave us some absolutely DIVINE news... (are you sitting down?!?!)
JOSHUA'S TUMOR MARKERS ARE DOWN TO 842!!!!!!
When we first came to Stanford, his markers were at 36,000. Incredible. Unbelievable. Absolutely divine JOY.
We are on the road to recovery and we are movin' fast! So, today we will get another round of the chemo that Josh's cancer has been responding so well to and maybe a couple of units of blood. We hope to be leaving Palo Alto tonight and head for home! Blessed is today!
